Mike Huckabee: Let’s Send Maxine Waters To Meet Kim Jung Ung

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee took to Twitter on Thursday to slam Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) by proposing that she be sent to North Korea to talk to Kim Jong Un.

Huckabee apparently referenced a February report in which two female North Korean agents reportedly assassinated Kim Jong-Nam, half-brother of dictator Kim Jong-Un, with a rare poison.

Huckabee’s comments come at a time where tensions are increasing between America and North Korea.

On Tuesday President Trump warned North Korea that its continuous threats towards the United States and its allies will be met with “fire and fury like the world has never seen.”

The comments came after leaked reports that North Korea could reach the United States with the nuclear warheads it can produce.

Congresswoman Waters told TMZ Wednesday that “this is a time for diplomacy,” and not the time for “bluffing from President Trump.”

“I think there are some things that they want from us, and we have to find out whether or not we can work with them on the things that they’re asking for. And so this is something we should be very concerned about,” said Waters. “But this is not the time to go bluffing and threatening. This is a time for diplomacy.”

Of course, people on Twitter flocked to Huckabee’s tweet to give their point of view.
